Thank you to all who attended our 2nd annual Constellation Developers Conference, Launch 2019. We sincerely appreciate all of our partners!
This year at Launch, we debuted two full tracks of terrific content; one for developers and one for business staff. We also had a keynote address from fintech thought leader Jim Marous and the return of the Constellation Hackathon. In our technical track, our fintech and credit union developers came together to learn how to create ground breaking services using the Constellation digital platform with the help of our Services Team lead by Daryl Thornton. Our business attendees participated in service ideation, via a Want-a-Thon, and planning sessions. The evenings were capped with networking time and a reception at a local arcade!
Day one provided our developer tract with some basic training around building tiles and connectors while the business tract featured an internal investor meeting. The evening ended with an amazing welcome reception.
Day two is where things got really fun! We kicked the day off with a welcome message from Constellations’ President and CEO, Kris Kovacs, and an amazing Keynote from fintech thought leader, Jim Marous.
Our developer community learned all about building the UI, Container API’s, external connectivity and Constellation certification while our business track featured a panel discussion, a review of Constellation Basics and a discussion on how to go live! After lunch Constellation’s very own Chief Product Officer and Developer Evangelist, Daryl Thornton dazzled us with his keynote! All attendees watched the Tile Showcase, where our registered development partners presented their solutions live on the Constellation Platform! The Hackathon took center stage next with an official kick off. Some teams even worked into the wee hours of the night. The day concluded with some good ol’ fashioned arcade fun at the Cobra!
Day three was filled with the Hackathon and seeing the amazing working solutions that our developers created in less than 24 hours! Our business leaders participated in a Want-A-Thon that showcased some incredible ideas, some of which will become reality very soon. Launch 2019 concluded with the Gravity Awards presentation which was live streamed by Mike Lawson and CUBroadcast!
